Overview
This was Brijesh's initial days of career, he got the chance to work with a Japanese client. He was responsible for the quality of the multifunction peripheral (MFP). It involves multiple factors like Authentication, Secure Printing (using SSL), MS Driver Certification, Automation of Driver Installer Applications etc.
Here is the summary of Brijesh's role:
Secure printing using SSL, it involves SSL setup and deployment. Authentication and Authorization (Using NTLM and Kerberos). Protocol testing of DHCP, DPWS, IPP, FTP, LDAP, SNMP, SSL, LPD, SLP, Samba and Apple Talk.
Automation Framework: This Project involves the development of a common “Automation Framework” for testing various printer drivers’ installations like pclxl and ps3, where some of the options vary and the functionality of the driver is same. This project also involves automation of the Web Application.
Testing of Embedded Web browser (EWB) using Microsoft Share Point Application. Testing of Master and Slave servers, DNS Delegation, Read-Only Domain Controller (RODC) and BIND 9. Configure applications like Active Directory, Domain Name Server (DNS), WLK, Distributed File System (DFS). Security scanning using Nessus Tool.
Test case design and execution, Test Planning, Preparation of Bidirectional Traceability matrix. Scope and review checklist and generating Test Report.
